Jennifer Regidor is a choreographer/dancer/teacher. She expresses her passion for dance in the creation of dance productions and projects and by inspiring young and old through the physical experience of the body as an instrument. As a child, she performed with her mother's Philippine folklore group since she was four. She grew up in a life that was filled with dance and music, taking weekly classes in classical and jazz dance, piano and saxophone.
Jennifer followed her dance studies at the Hoger Instituut voor Dans (specialization in contemporary dance) and at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. She developed her artistic career, which began in 1995, in a very diverse and extensive manner.
She participated in national and international dance projects in collaboration with various choreographers and groups such as P.A.R.T.S. (Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker), Cie. Aimé de Lignière, Cie. Arcoballo, Roberto Olivan, etc. Since 1999 she has been leading her own dance company Lune. She performed with several productions in cultural centers in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Mexico... As a choreographer she has already won several prizes and in 2006 and 2009 she became Ambassador of Contemporary Dance in Flanders with Lune.
Through her artistic paths, she likes to increasingly mix contemporary dance with other art forms, including live music, singing, video art, painting... In order to professionalize Lune, she founded a second company in 2010, Lune&Co. Since September 2013, this company has been completely separated as Compagnie CoCon. This consists of a database of free-lance dancers, who are approached per project. She is also a member of the collective ‘Dansproject’ since 2002, which gives young people the opportunity to gain more stage experience in an annual festival in various cultural centers in Flanders. Since 2017 she has also danced with HNDRD, the contemporary company led by Min Hee Bervoets.
Her own dance material is still evolving and is mainly characterized by the musicality, flow and dynamics in which she loves to involve partner work and floorwork.
In 2017-2019 she has also danced with HNDRD, the contemporary company led by Min Hee Bervoets. Since she started as a teacher at the SLAC in Leuven, she has taught in many dance schools in Flanders, such as 18 years at dé Kunsthumaniora Antwerpen (Wilrijk). She is currently coordinating the dance education at Lemmensinstituut in Leuven, and she teaches in Danscentrum Aike Raes and Dansstudio Hilde Goyens in Leuven.
Besides giving workshops and dance coachings, she is also invited as a guest choreographer with youth companies or young dancers in training and she judges in various dance competitions for contemporary and modern dance.

Jennifer Regidor is choreograaf/ danser/ docent. Haar passie voor dans uit zich in het creëren van dansproducties en projecten, in het inspireren van jong en oud door de fysieke beleving van het lichaam als instrument. Als kind trad ze sinds haar vierde op met de Filippijnse folkloregroep van haar moeder. Gebeten door de dans- en muziekmicrobe groeide ze op met wekelijkse lessen klassieke dans en jazzdans, piano en saxofoon.
Jennifer volgde haar verdere studies dans aan het Hoger Instituut voor Dans (specialisatie hedendaagse dans) en vulde deze aan met de opleiding bij P.A.R.T.S. in Brussel. Haar artistieke parcours, dat in 1995 begon, ontwikkelde zich heel verscheiden en uitgebreid.
Ze werkte mee aan binnen- en buitenlandse dansprojecten in samenwerking met verschillende choreografen en groepen zoals P.A.R.T.S. (Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker), Cie. Aimé de Lignière, Cie. Arcoballo, Roberto Olivan, enz. Sinds 1999 leidt ze haar eigen danscompagnie Lune. Verscheidene producties stonden al in culturele centra in België, Nederland en Frankrijk, Spanje, Mexico... Als choreografe won ze reeds verscheidene prijzen en in 2006 en 2009 werd ze met Lune Ambassadeur van de Hedendaagse Dans in Vlaanderen.
Doorheen haar artistieke wegen mengt ze graag hedendaagse dans steeds meer met andere kunstvormen o.a. live muziek, zang, videokunst, schilderkunst... Om Lune te kunnen professionaliseren richt ze in 2010 een tweede compagnie op, Lune&Co. Sinds september 2013 is deze compagnie volledig afgescheiden als Compagnie CoCon. Deze bestaat uit een database van free-lance dansers, die per project worden aangesproken. Zo is ze ook al sinds 2002 verbonden aan het collectief Dansproject, dat jongeren de kans geeft om meer podiumervaring op te doen in een jaarlijks festival in verschillende CC's in Vlaanderen. Sinds 2017 danst ze ook bij HNDRD, de hedendaagse compagnie o.l.v. Min Hee Bervoets.
Haar eigen dansmateriaal evolueert nog steeds en wordt vooral gekenmerkt door de muzikaliteit, flow en dynamiek waarbij ze het partnerwerk en grondwerk niet schuwt. In 2017-2019 danste ze ook bij HNDRD, de hedendaagse compagnie o.l.v. Min Hee Bervoets. Sinds ze begon als docent aan het SLAC te Leuven heeft ze in vele dansscholen in Vlaanderen les gegeven, o.a. 18 jaren aan dé Kunsthumaniora Antwerpen (Wilrijk). Momenteel coördineert ze de danshumaniora aan het Lemmensinstituut te Leuven en geeft ze les in Danscentrum Aike Raes en Dansstudio Hilde Goyens te Leuven.
Buiten voor het geven van workshops en coachings op dansstages wordt ze tevens als gastchoreografe uitgenodigd bij jongerencompagnies of jonge dansers in opleiding en zetelt ze in de jury van danswedstrijden voor hedendaagse en moderne dans.
